Trey Kennedy is a founding partner of the Firm with more than 22 years of experience in providing professional accounting and audit services to private and publicly held companies, particularly in the aviation, construction, hospitality (food service & hotels), information technology, manufacturing & distribution, oil and gas & petrochemical, professional services, staffing, and settlement trust client sectors. Trey’s experience with technology and our Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) drives audit efficiency and effectiveness. Also, our use of the Continuous Audit/Monitoring Process benefits his clients year-round by improving processes, monitoring quarterly transaction cycles, and detecting and addressing issues promptly, resulting in improved efficiencies and a more cost-effective audit than traditional methods.
Trey also assists public companies with SOX compliance as well as their annual and periodic SEC filings. He serves as the auditing/accounting advisor for many asbestos settlements and other damage trusts and has related experience in their claims processing and operational processes and procedures. Finally, Trey leads our employee benefit plan practice. In addition to the traditional accounting and auditing services, Trey provides various internal control and process consulting services to improve his client’s businesses.
